Answer for Router speed

The D-Link DIR-815 has 10/100 Ethernet ports, including the port to connect to your Internet provider. As such, you will likely only see about 90 Mbps maximum throughput, possibly even less depending on various factors. If you want to get the full 117 Mbps that your provider is offering, you will need a router that has gigabit Ethernet ports, such as I describe in a previous blog article (https://marcelbrown.com/2014/10/07/high-speed-internet-can-router-keep-anymore/). I generally recommend a router like the Linksys EA3500 or similar as a good baseline gigabit router that can handle 100 Mbps+ connections.
