Answer for the right router
Yes, this router is a bit older. And usually no ISP will discuss the needs of your own equipment to be able to handle the new generation of very high speed Internet services. Which is why I wrote the following article:

First, you should read over the article if you haven’t already. It discusses some basic specs to look for. The reality is that there are many routers that can handle a 200 Mbps Internet service. I generally recommend a router similar to the Linksys EA3500 as they are reasonably priced and provide good performance. However, there are more expensive routers that are more powerful for those who may want it, but for most people, as long as the router can take full advantage of the Internet speed being offered, a lot of the extras aren’t necessary. I recommend buying from a retailer that has a reasonable return policy in case a particular router just doesn’t cut it for you.
