Router
I have an old router (Linksys WRT54GS) and have recently purchased a smart Blu-ray DVD player for streaming. I also upgraded my internet speed and purchased a new modem to support the speed. I finally am able to stream but it seems “touchy”. Also, my new wireless keyboard is giving me trouble. It works intermittenly and sometimes when I’ve not used it for a period of time, it takes time to get it to start working again when I return to use it. Is this a router issue too? Or is this a faulty keyboard that I should return? The wirless mouse works fine.

Given how old your router is, I would go ahead and replace it. It is possible that it is interfering with your keyboard, so if you replace it with a more modern router, you’ll know for sure plus you’ll get a better performing router.
